Can I download the app from my app store?

There is no need to download any app from the app store? You only need to save the Motustrack web page to your phone’s home screen. This will cause an icon to come up on your phone’s home screen just like any other app. Just select the icon and you’ll automatically be taken to the Motustrack home page where you can select “Login”.

Note: If you look at the questions below you’ll see a step-by-step list of how to do this.

IS MY CHILD’S INFORMATION SECURE?

Yes, each parent has a unique ID and password to gain access to the system. Once access is granted the system will only show buses that your child currently rides.

What happens if my bus breaks down?

If your normal bus happens to break down and is temporarily replaced with a spare bus then your ability to track the bus will be suspended for that time. Once the bus is fixed and back to it’s normal route your ability to track and receive alert messages will resume.

Will all buses be able to be tracked by GPS?

No, certain buses based upon their size, routes or function will not be tracked. Most buses that currently have a daily active route will have the ability to be tracked by the school or parent.

How does the billing cycle work?

Each Motus account is based upon a 12 month a year billing cycle.

How do I get the web app button on my smartphone home screen?

IPhone

1. Open Safari
2. Go to Motustrack.com
3. Hit the menu button (box with arrow pointing up icon at the bottom of your screen )
4. Scroll through options and select “Add To Home Screen”
5. Hit Add & the Motus icon will now show up on your home screen

1. Open your web browser
2. Go to Motustrack.com
3. Hit the menu button ( with 3 dots in the top right corner )
4. Select “Add To Homescreen”
5. Hit Add & the Motus icon will now show up on your home screen

How does it work (Website)?

  1. Make sure you know your child’s student ID (https://westclarkin.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/west_clark.jsp)
  2. Visit http://www.motustrack.com
  3. Select “Sign-Up” located at the top of the screen
  4. Fill out “School Child Attends”
  5. Click the “Subscribe” button
  6. PayPal users select “Login”
  7. Non PayPal users select “credit or debit card”
  8. Fill out payment form – Agree
  9. Select the “Return to Motus Tracking Solutions” button
  10. Fill out the new account Motus form
    1. This is where you will need your child’s student ID
  11. You will now start receiving text messages when the bus is near you home
  12. You can view a live map online by going to http://www.motustrack.com and selecting “Login”.
  13. Use your user name (your email address) and the password you created to view where the bus is in real time.

Do I need separate accounts for my children?

Each account is based upon the unique student ID and is associated with the bus your child rides. If you have multiple children riding the same bus then you will not need a separate account. If you have multiple children attending Silver Creek Primary/Elementary “AND” Silver Creek Middle/High School please contact us directly in order to complete your account.
